Operation Face Mask

To assist with the shortage of medical face masks, AgriLife Extension is leading an effort to bring its volunteer network together for homemade production of masks statewide: Operation Face Mask

Extension Food Drive

Food shortages at food pantries and food banks have been reported at the State Operations Center.  As a result, AgriLife Extension has been asked to consider sponsoring and organizing food drives at the county level to benefit local food pantries or the food bank serving that county when no local food pantry is available or currently open.  Guidelines and recommendations for conducting an Extension Food Drive are available at the following link:  Extension Food Drive

Extension Blood Drive

In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, blood supplies are running low.  The American Red Cross reports maintaining a blood supply during ‘normal’ times of five days; current supplies are around two days. The following are recommended guidelines for conducting an Extension Blood Drive
