Patriotism through Preparedness is a disaster preparedness program developed for youth.
Disasters can cause children to experience many different feelings, especially fear and sadness. Allowing children to actively participate in a family disaster plan is an excellent way to build their confidence and may help them cope better with their feelings in the event of a disaster.
The following curriculum was developed to help parents and kids bond together in preparing for an emergency and/or disaster.
